Update (06/02/09)

Ian and I have been talking, and I have some ideas. I will hopefully have a decent update shortly.

Oh, and no more unrecoverable data loss. Multiple backups in place to restore quickly after a disaster like that.

Update (5/10/09)

Ian has plans for a new focus of the site. We have been in touch and I am waiting on direction.

He also provided backups of all the prior artwork/content, so if desired, it can be replaced.

Updates will follow soon (hopefully)

Poorly Drawn Theatre is currently down (no shit, right?)

Update (9/23/08) - The hard drive had a catastrophic failure. Total. Unrecoverable. Catastrophic. Failure. Yeah - here is what SalvageData.com said: Jennifer, We have completed the diagnosis of your hard drive. Your drive was evaluated in our lab where we were unable to read any data from the drive surface. There was an internal mechanical alignment problem which partially contributed to a head crash destroying part of the storage media. This occurs when an actuator arm or read/write head comes into physical contact with the surface of the platter(s). The head digs into the platter(s) damaging itself and also removing small pieces of the media where the data is stored. As the platter spins, magnetic debris from the crashes are often scattered to other surfaces, which in turn causes more media damage (a magnetic snowball effect). Unfortunately due to the type and extent of this damage the data is unrecoverable. Please contact us to have the drive shipped back. If arrangements are not made within 10 business days of this notice it will be environmentally safely disposed or recycled. Update (8/31/08) - I am sending out the drive to www.salvagedata.com to see if they can recover the website, and all the other data that was on the drive (tax returns, etc). In the meantime, Ian should contact me, seriously. =/
